SUMMARY:Fall Party and Pig Roast
DESCRIPTION:(Rain Date: Sunday\, October 22)Swimming may be over for this year\, but there is still another chance to get together with your Holmes Run Pool friends at this festive gathering celebrating the Fall season. Don’t miss this favorite annual event. \nDinner features a slow roasted pig\, lovingly grilled on site all day by our own member chef Jim Wright with the assistance of Mark Sites\, accompanied by homemade vegetarian chili\, mac-n-cheese\, baked beans\, coleslaw\, and dessert. Apple cider and beer will be available. Feel welcome to BYO any other favorite beverages. \nKids are invited to hunt for and then decorate a mini-pumpkin that they can take home with them. There will also be marshmallows to roast! \nNEW THIS YEAR! Find a partner and participate in a three-legged race! \nNon-member friends are welcome. We hope you’ll join us! \n\n\n\nTickets are on sale until Oct 17.\nOur volunteer organizers appreciate when guests purchase their tickets earlier rather than later as it helps them better prepare for this event. \nEarly Bird Prices (until Fri\, Oct 13) \n\n$15 for adults\n$10 for children ages 2-12\nChildren under 2 are free\nAdult and teen volunteers are free\n\nLast Call Prices (after Fri\, Oct 13) \n\n$25 for adults\n$15 for children ages 2-12\nChildren under 2 are free\nAdult and teen volunteers are free\n\nVolunteers\nAttend for free when you sign up to volunteer. \n\n\nNote About the Weather\nAs with any outdoor party\, there is a chance that rain or storms will interrupt our event. Guests are welcome to bring popup canopies in case of rain. If there are storms\, we will follow our standard policy of closing the facility until 30 minutes past the last sound of thunder. While there are no refunds for weather interruptions or cancellations\, we will do everything we can to reopen and have a great evening\, even if storms happen.
