Adults and teens 13+, your help is needed! Volunteers earn 10 tickets and 1 raffle ticket per 1 hour shift, and you may sign up for as many shifts as you like. Teens can earn community service hours (valid for FCPS student service hours) in lieu of tickets. Sign up now to get a coupon for FREE tickets.

Swimming may be over for this year, but there is still another chance to get together with your Holmes Run Pool friends at this festive gathering celebrating the Fall season. Tickets are on sale now! Prices go up on Sunday, Oct 17.

Are you a fanatic for fun facts? Assemble your dream team and head down to the pool to show off those trivia skills. Questions will span a wide variety of categories: from Elvis to Olivia Rodrigue, from Kahlo to Feynman, from Patton to Zelenskyy, and from the Scoville scale to the Richter scale so multigenerational teams whose players have wide interests may have an edge. If you don't have a team, come down anyway and we'll do our best to match you with another partner or two. Trivia battle will start at 6 pm. Teams can be 2-4 players of any age (max on any team is 4). The Grand Prize winning team will win free tickets to the Fall Pig Roast. Grab a taco or a handmade Mexican masa tamale from the MINA'S TAMALES food truck anytime after 5 pm. Save time and preorder your food. Attendees MUST be over the age of 21. Tickets are on sale from July 11 to August 8. We may have a limited number of tickets available after that date but there are no guarantees. Volunteers MUST be over the age of 21. Note to the general membership. The picnic grounds, grills, playground, and all picnic decks will close at 2 pm in order to set up for this event.

Dinner features a slow roasted pig, lovingly grilled on site all day by our own member chef Jim Wright with the assistance of HRARA president Mark Sites, accompanied by homemade vegetarian chili, mac-n-cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, apple cider, and dessert. Complimentary beer will be available. Feel welcome to BYO any other favorite alcoholic beverages. Kids are invited to decorate a mini pumpkin that they can take home with them and there will also be marshmallows to roast! Non-member friends are welcome. We hope you'll join us!
