DESCRIPTION:Sunday classes are a wonderful way to end the weekend and begin the new week. Treat yourself to an hour of deep water aerobics with certified instructor Kara Bowling. Drop-in classes are $10 per class; $100 for 11. Pay by cash or check (attn. HRARA). No reservation required\, just join the group at the lower pool. Please arrive 15 minutes early so that you can be ready for class on time. All of the needed equipment is provided.

DESCRIPTION:Swimming may be over for this year\, but there is still another chance to get together with your Holmes Run Pool friends at this festive gathering celebrating the Autumn season. Chefs Jim Wright\, Mark Sites\, and their trusty pit crew will lovingly smoke and slow roast a whole pig on site overnight. Savor the succulent barbecue with vegetarian sides including chili\, mac and cheese\, baked beans\, and coleslaw all homemade by Seena Polivy and Laura Champe Mitchell. Children are invited to decorate a mini-pumpkin that they can take home with them and all are encouraged to participate in or spectate at a three-legged race! So come\, enjoy some excellent barbecue\, catch the three-legged race\, indulge in dessert\, or just take in the vibe of the evening\, all in the good company of friends and neighbors at this favorite annual event.

DESCRIPTION:Now that the pool is officially closed for the season\, our facility is being winterized. There are a few quick items that can be handled by member volunteers including moving the picnic tables and removing the deck canopies. We are looking for volunteers to help with these items—with enough help\, these tasks should be finished in 30-45 minutes. If you are able to help\, please stop at the pool at 9 am. Thank you! \nMembership involvement in this important work helps keep our dues low. (Teens who help can earn service hours needed to meet their middle and high school graduation requirements so bring them along!)
