End of Summer Festival
Join us to celebrate the end of another great summer with an afternoon of fun for all ages. Featuring carnival games, individual and team challenges, a relay race in the pool, arts and crafts, and more. Buy tickets or RSVP and your name will automatically be entered in a raffle to win a prize at the festival.
Calling All Competitors!
Show off your skills and talents in our individual "Minute to Win It" style field challenges or the Pool Float Relay Race! Children (age 6 and up), adults, and guests of members are welcome. Get 1 raffle ticket when you sign up online to compete. Space is limited so sign up now!
Volunteers Needed!
Adults and teens 13+, your help is needed! Volunteers earn 10 tickets and 1 raffle ticket per 1 hour shift, and you may sign up for as many shifts as you like. Teens can earn community service hours (valid for FCPS student service hours) in lieu of tickets. Sign up now to get a coupon for FREE tickets.

Fall Party and Pig Roast
Swimming may be over for this year, but there is still another chance to get together with your Holmes Run Pool friends at this festive gathering to welcome and celebrate the Fall season.
Food: There will plenty to eat, including slow roasted pig lovingly grilled onsite all day by our own member chef, Jim Wright. Food will also include homemade vegetarian chili, mac-n-cheese, baked beans, and slaw, plus a delicious homemade caramel apple crisp and, Buckland Farm's freshly baked apple cider donuts. apple cider, lemonade, beer, and wine will also be served.
Activities: Kids are invited to decorate a mini pumpkin that they can take home with them.
Tickets: Please buy your tickets online in advance to help us with planning. Volunteer to help with set up or clean up for a free ticket.

Taco Trivia Night
Middle DeckAre you a fanatic for fun facts? Assemble your dream team and head down to the pool to show off those trivia skills. Questions will span a wide variety of categories: from Elvis to Olivia Rodrigue, from Kahlo to Feynman, from Patton to Zelenskyy, and from the Scoville scale to the Richter scale so multigenerational teams whose players have wide interests may have an edge. If you don't have a team, come down anyway and we'll do our best to match you with another partner or two. Trivia battle will start at 6 pm. Teams can be 2-4 players of any age (max on any team is 4). The Grand Prize winning team will win free tickets to the Fall Pig Roast. Grab a taco or a handmade Mexican masa tamale from the MINA'S TAMALES food truck anytime after 5 pm. Save time and preorder your food.
