On Deck this Week
Ladies Night (CANCELLED)
Sunday classes are a wonderful way to end the weekend and begin the new week. Treat yourself to an hour of deep water aerobics with certified instructor Kara Bowling.
Please arrive at 11 so that you can get your equipment on and be ready for class at 11:15. The pool will supply all of the needed equipment. If you want to just try class, you can drop in for $10 per class. Reservations are not required—just join the water aerobics group at the lower pool.
Food Truck: Freed’s Biscuit Co.
Freed’s Biscuit Company offers homemade from scratch breakfast biscuits, sandwiches, burgers, and cinnamon rolls. Their original sweet and savory biscuits are baked up fresh every day. They source most of their ingredients locally. Their buttermilk is made with local milk. The biscuits are made with local butter. The eggs and meat have been purchased from local farms. The bacon is cured for 10 days and then smoked right behind our restaurant. It really is a labor of love!
Visit their Website or Facebook Page for more information.
A stretching and aerobic workout at the end of “hump day” helps you get through the rest of your week relaxed and energized! Treat yourself to an hour of deep water aerobics with certified instructor Jill Arvanitis. Classes are $10 per class per member; equipment is provided. Reservations are not required—just join the water aerobics group at the lower pool. Please check in a few minutes early so class may begin on time!
Taco Trivia Night
Sat, June 24 @ 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Are you a fanatic for fun facts? Assemble your dream team and head down to the pool to show off those trivia skills. Questions will span a wide variety of categories: from Elvis to Olivia Rodrigue, from Kahlo to Feynman, from Patton to Zelenskyy, and from the Scoville scale to the Richter scale so multigenerational teams whose players have wide interests may have an edge. If you don’t have a team, come down anyway and we’ll do our best to match you with another partner or two. Trivia battle will start at 6 pm. Teams can be 2-4 players of any age (max on any team is 4). The Grand Prize winning team will win free tickets to the Fall Pig Roast.
It’s no fun playing on an empty stomach so, of course, tacos will be served! Be sure to purchase your tickets earlier rather than later so our volunteer hosts can be sure to prepare enough food and drink for all.
Ticket sales are OPEN

Here are a few important things to know…
Photo IDs are Required for Admission
Photo IDs are required for entry to the pool facility. Save time at check-in and upload your own photo (just a headshot – no hats or sunglasses, please). Just log in to the eSoft portal and go to My Account / My Profile. Alternatively, you may have it taken the first day you come to the pool.
Youths aged 11-17 are allowed to come to the pool alone as long as a parent member agrees to HRARA’s unaccompanied minor policy. To complete the necessary form, log in to the website, go to My Profile / Profile, select ‘Minors’ on the gray submenu, and complete the necessary form. Both parent and child must agree to the policies. Children who do not have this form completed will not be allowed to enter the pool property without a parent or guardian present. Those aged 14 or older may be designated as a babysitter in charge of other children. (NOTE: A new Unaccompanied Minor form must be filled out at the beginning of each season.)
Parking at the Pool
Please remember to drive slowly in the parking lot and watch for small children. If the lot is full, parking is available on neighborhood streets including Executive Avenue and Hemlock Avenue. From Hemlock, you may walk behind Woodburn Elementary School, pass the playground, tennis courts and field and take the path through the woods to the pool property.
Every hour, the pool observes a 10-minute break time when swimmers ages 15 and under must exit the pool completely. Please remind your children to observe break time by sitting on the lounge chairs or enjoying the pool grounds. Children are not allowed to sit at the edge of the pool or keep their feet in the water as a safety precaution.
Swimmers 16 and over are welcome to stay in the pool during break time. If a lifeguard asks a swimmer to observe break time, please comply with the request. If there is a disagreement regarding the age of the swimmer, please have the swimmer confirm their age at the pool house.
