Dance the night away, swim by the light of the moon, and feast on crabs, shrimp, chicken, ribs, sides, and dessert. Includes beer, wine, and more! Tickets are on sale until Tuesday, August 6. Discounted tickets and reserved tables are available for volunteers. This event is open to members and their non-member guests. All attendees must be aged 21+.
The annual meeting of the Holmes Run Acres Recreation Association (HRARA) shareholders will be held at the pool in the evening on Saturday, August 19, 2023. All members are invited and encourage to attend (please note that guests are not invited to this event). Even if you've never attended before, please come! You will have a chance to hear from the Board about the season and more. In what may be as fun as grilling steaks at the pool, you will have the opportunity to grill our Board of Directors about what they have been up to and learn about future plans. A complimentary light dinner will be served following the meeting for all who attend, and we will be showing a family movie on the lawn after dinner.

Swimming may be over for this year, but there is still another chance to get together with your Holmes Run Pool friends at this festive gathering celebrating the Fall season. Don't miss this favorite annual event. Dinner features a slow roasted pig, lovingly grilled on site all day by our own member chef Jim Wright with the assistance of Mark Sites, accompanied by homemade vegetarian chili, mac-n-cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, apple cider, and dessert. Complimentary beer will be available. Feel welcome to BYO any other favorite alcoholic beverages. Kids are invited to decorate a mini pumpkin that they can take home with them and there will also be marshmallows to roast! Non-member friends are welcome. We hope you'll join us! Ticket sales open Tuesday, September 3.
